Annual Update

Who should use:

Note: Parents/Guardians will access the Annual Update through a link inside the Power School Parent Portal called 'InfoSnap Update' (please see the graphic to the left). Some portions of the form require electronic signatures that may only be completed by an adult.

  • All RETURNING E.O. Smith Students
  • All incoming Grade 9 students from Ashford, Columbia (Horace Porter School), Mansfield or Willington.
  • Parents will receive a mailing with direction and a reminder of their Parent Portal Username and Password.
  • Note: Parents without Internet access may use the Public Library, any internet connected moblie device or may use a computer station in the E.O. Smith Guidance Office during regular summer hours (9-2:00).

InfoSnap integrates electronically with Power School to help ensure that student/family information is complete and up-to-date. This helps to eliminate the need for many of the existing paper forms that families are required to complete each year.

InfoSnap may be accessed using any internet capable device. In addition InfoSnap offers families free technical support in the event help is needed in completing the online process.

About Annual Updates - Required for All Familes

The Annual Update occurs once per year, beginning mid-late August. Parents will access the Annual Update via their Power School Parent PortalLogin. The Annual Update is extremely important in ensuring that Region 19 has complete and up-to-date contact information for all member families. After this process has been completed, additional updates may be made by contact the Guidance Office or Main Office directly, or the form in question may still be submitted to provide the updated information.

In the event forms accessible through InfoSnap need to be updated and re-submitted later, they may be accessed and printed from the column to the right. They may then be dropped off in the E.O. Smith Main Office.
