Mentors play a vital role in the education of Depot Campus students. They are local business owners, merchants, artists, and interested citizens who volunteer to both provide an internship site for students as well as be a mentor in educating the student in their field of expertise. Mentors become part of a students learning plan team, and collaborate with the advisor and LTI coordinator to provide a challenging and invigorating internship experience. The Depot Campus sees adults in the community as essential to creating a true real-world learning experience for students, and the hope is that mentors become deeply invested in helping students achieve success. Mentors are invited to Exhibitions and are encouraged to give specific and meaningful feedback as students work in their internships. We would like to thank the following individuals and businesses for their service as mentors to our students. Link to a recent article in TheReminder!
